2016 Audi R&D Asia UI&UX, Creative
Audi MMI Gesture Control System UI/UX Design is my graduation project in 2016, which is fully supported by Audi R&D Centre Asia during my internship. The aim for this concept design is to study the usability for rear seat passengers to control multi media system safely by using gestures.

System demonstration video
Here is the demonstration video for Audi MMI Gesture Control System recorded from the concept Audi A8 car PC.
Target User
Due to the safety consideration and the gesture identify technology was not mature in 2016, the target user for Audi MMI Gesture control system is mainly focus on the rear seat and co-pilot seat passengers.
User interface for the
Day & Night mode
There are two different modes for user to use in the different luminous environments. The Dark/Night mode will be good for the night time using. And the light/Day mode is more suitable for the place with enough light.
Significance
Gesture control will be an important way of interaction in the future. Although my design and research are only focused in the automotive industry, it still can provide an example and experience for the growth of somatosensory interaction design.

The Show
